KidSPOT Camp is a summer arts camp that offers 6 weeks of classes for campers ages 6-13, and 2 weeks of morning sessions for ages 4 – 6. Each weekly session offers a different arts activity, Clay, Painting, Sculpture, etc., thus campers have the opportunity to explore different media and techniques by registering for more than one session. Parents may choose between half-day and full-day sessions. See details below.
Instructor and program developer, Mary Ann Herron, has been teaching at Radcliffe Creek School for 20 years- currently teaching art to students in grades K-8. She was featured in What’s Up Eastern Shore Magazine (go here and scroll down). She also serves as a lead instructor at Echo Hill Outdoor School’s summer Little Explorers program. Mary Ann has taught art classes in inner city Philadelphia, at Kent School and Horizons. She attended Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, where she studied studio art with a focus on printmaking and drawing and has a Masters of Art in Teaching from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. Mary Ann enjoys gardening, raising chickens, cooking, fishing, hiking, canoeing, and working on various art projects with her family.
