The Chestertown Annual Recycled Art Show is sponsored by the Town of Chestertown and RiverArts as part of the annual
Earth Day Festival in support of our ongoing effort to educate and encourage waste reduction, reuse, recycling and a cleaner environment in Kent County. It is free to submit and open to all ages- students encouraged. Awards will be given in Student and Adult categories
GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT ENTRIES
Media used must be composed of a minimum of 50% recycled materials. The bulk of the material used must be material that would be discarded were it not repurposed.
The criterion for this exhibit is the creativity demonstrated in transforming the material into something new and original. Each artist may submit up to four pieces, executed in any medium.
Application must be received no later than April 19
DROP OFF AND PICK UP
All art should be dropped off at the Recycled Art Show area in Memorial Park between 8:30 and 9:00 on Saturday, April 21 and should be picked up at 1:00 on the same day.
AGREEMENT OF ENTRY AND LIABILITY
The Town of Chestertown reserves the right to reproduce artwork for publicity purposes. All reasonable care will be taken with artwork. However, the Town of Chestertown is not responsible for any artwork displayed or left at Memorial Park.
Your entry constitutes acceptance of all conditions and terms in this entry form. It is the responsibility of the artist to adhere to all deadlines.
