Thank you to everyone that made this year’s ArtsAlive! Gala a success!
RiverArts held our annual ArtsAlive! Gala, sponsored by Byrd Consulting, LLC, on Saturday March 28, 2015, and we are so grateful to everyone that made our “fun”raiser possible! There was a great turn-out for “A Night in the Tropics” was much needed after such a long and blustery winter, and our organizers delivered on a great event!
We would like to thank our ArtsAlive! chairs, Mary Jo McCulloch and Mike Heffron. Their hard work and vision made this event possible. They gave countless hours of their time to coordinate all aspects of the event from the food and venue to decor, auction items, and the band.
We also give our sincere thanks to our committee chairs without whom the event would not have been possible. Zane Carter and William Brockschmidt were responsible for transporting us to the islands with the decor. Beryl Kemp ensured that everyone felt welcome. Connie Metcalf ensured all of the tickets were accounted for. Sue Wright made sure every dollar was counted. Jonathan Chase made sure the drinks were flowing all night long.
We’d also like to recognize everyone that donated to the live and silent auctions. The results aren’t in yet, but the response to our request for auction items was overwhelming and we appreciate it.
